What is RunStrict?
RunStrict is a GPS-based running game where your real-world runs capture hexagonal territory on a map. Join a team — FLAME, WAVE, or CHAOS — and compete during 40-day seasons to dominate your city.
How do I create an account?
Download RunStrict from the App Store or Google Play, open the app, and sign up with your email or Apple/Google account. Choose your team and start running.
How does territory capture work?
When you run through a hexagonal tile, it gets captured for your team. Each hex is roughly 175 meters across, based on Uber's H3 grid system. Run through uncaptured or rival hexes to flip them to your team's color.
What happens when a season ends?
At the end of each 40-day season, The Void resets all territory. Leaderboards are finalized, and a new season begins with a fresh map. Your personal running history is always preserved.
Is my running data private?
Your personal run history (distance, pace, routes) is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded to our servers. Only game-related data (captured hexes, team scores) is synced.
How do I delete my account?
Open RunStrict, tap your Profile icon, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. You can also visit our
account deletion page for more details.
